Pembroke Lodge Eco-friendly Wedding

This past month we had the pleasure of returning to Pembroke Lodge in Richmond to decorate the suite for a lovely rustic, green environmentally friendly wedding.

Large in size of about 100 people- we used our White Linen Chair Covers to transform the room over from drab to fab!

This wedding was fortunate to take place during the 2 week heat wave that occurred in London in early October- so we arrived to lovely views over Richmond and a very warm sunny day Perfect for a wedding.

The bride was going for a rustic- country -go green -feel so she had picked our sage green organza sash to complement with the rest of her wedding theme.

Once the chair covers had been placed on and the bows tied the final effect looked like this..

Very elegant- pretty and ready for the guests to take their seats!

Meanwhile- whilst we completed the chair covers the rest of the wedding breakfast was being put together by the wonderful staff at Pembroke Lodge.

Wedding Breakfast

The bride following her theme -opted for a very efficient price effective and charming little centrepiece which she customised with her new husbands initial in a heart.

These were a lovely choice as they doubled over as long lasting plants for someone on the table to take home..

The bride got hold of some pebbles and the plant pot from a flower store- added the chalk heart and tied some pretty rustic ribbon around for added colour contrast.

It is subtle yet effective for a wedding centrepiece idea.

She took her customisations even further with an adaption of traditional confetti using potpourri placed in handmade mini paper cones for guests- this is a wonderful economic and environmentally friendly way to achieve the same effect as traditional paper confetti- it also is much more attractive in a pretty basket than regular confetti-

It looks pretty too! We loved her attention to detail as the confetti was placed in a chic wooden basket lined with netting ready for guests to help themselves.

Our sage green organza sash came together well- for the ceremony and the breakfast- It is a good colour for Pembroke lodge as it compliments the decor- alongside the White chair covers it really transforms the event into something spectacular.
