5. The Pretty Pear Martini
Your meant to ensure your eating your RDA of fruit and veg everyday- well why not have a few of these to get your daily fruit allowance in track! This is the The Pretty Pear Martini–
Made with:
- 4 Parts ABSOLUT PEARS
- 4 Parts Simple Syrup
- 4 Parts Lemon
- 1 Part Pear Puree
- 1 Slice Pear
Simple and tasty- guests will be merry after tasting this fruity delight.
The suggestion of Absolut can be subsititued with your own favourite vodka/ alcohol. Yum!
4. The Giving Grapefruit Mojito
Everyone knows during summer months Mojito sales rises- they are the refreshing summer drink, a global alternative to Pimms. Frequently served at weddings and outdoorsy events.. but why stick to a boring mojito, why not mix it up and add some grapefuit to the glass?
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz white rum
1 oz simple syrup (or fruit-flavored syrup!)
1 oz fresh red grapefruit juice + several slices
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Grapefruit blends perfectly with rum or vodka so this mix is a delightful pleasure to leave your guests thinking “what a nice alternative” whilst asking for another!
3. Loose Lemon and Ginger Cocktail
Lemon and lime.. has nothing on Lemon & Ginger – a different type of kick is given to the unbeknown taster- no doubt this would be perfect for a cooler wedding month such as october onwards- It is something VERY unique and very signiture to your wedding, not a traditional menu drink so at least everyone will think of your wedding the next time they see a lemon cocktail.
How to make it? find out below!
- 3 Parts ABSOLUT VODKA
- 3 Parts Lemon Juice
- 2 Parts Ginger Syrup
- 2 Parts Simple Syrup
- 1 Splash Grenadine
- Soda Water
- 1 Slice Lemon
It is worth adding more sugar if the kick is too strong- it will dull down the acidity of this shocking lemon drink.
2. Margarita Medley
Made with one of my favourite liquors- CHAMBORD!
Very sweet and rich flavoured drink and mixed in with the following:
50 mL Herradura Silver Tequila
22 mL Chambord Liqueur
22 mL Pomegranate Juice
15 mL Fresh Lime Juice
Tequila makes up a large propotion of this drink so be careful of those guests having one too many! It will have an effect..
1. Traditional Champagne
Number one has to be something a little traditional..
Champagne- add a small piece of fruit and your good to go!
Not much more can be said- its a classic because it works!
