This is the wedding of Keith and Neo.
Italian Villa April 2019
The Wedding Day:
Two of our vans set off early in the morning to get to the venue for 9am. We got to the Italian Villa nice and early as we supplied a variety of our wonderful products and wanted to ensure we had enough time to setup for our couples specia day. Florals, furniture and tableware were all part of the delivery so arriving at 9am our team got to work to ensure everything was set and ready in time for the ceremony.
We met the lovely Neo in January and started planning for her wedding that was due to take place in April, this time last year.
She told us she wanted a beautiful glamorous gold and ivory style wedding with hints of peach and champagne as the Venue was relatively Bland and simple.
We discussed a few options in our showroom and came up with this design of wedding, as the wedding was in April she was unsure if she would have an outdoor wedding or an indoor wedding, The British weather plays a big role in the design and decor of a wedding and the location of the wedding ceremony. It is such a hard thing to guess and to predict. We knew whatever we came up with needed to work for both settings. We needed a backdrop that can work inside as well as a backdrop that could work in the gardens, so we were careful in choosing the design, we also needed something that could fit in the limited space of for the reception. The couple had 120 guests which is maximum capacity for the venue, so the head table could not be that big.
The wedding decor theme was a gold Glam wedding.
The ceremony featured a brand new white carpet aisle runner with gold mirror plinths and and glass vases with pillar candles inside. We used our Arabella chairs which would then be used for the reception afterward.
On each plinth we placed our large bell vases with grand silk flower arrangements.
The arrangements were made up of ivory hydrangeas, champagne peonies, ivory Roses blush pink spray Roses. We kept the arrangements quite tidy and compact and full as per her requirements.
At the top end of the aisle we installed our all white blossom canopy which if it had been a warmer day outside it could have quite easily been placed at the front of a ceremony as well.
Regardless of having an indoor wedding the ceremony looked superb.
The Bride wanted touches of gold throughout her wedding so for the Registrar’s table which was later then be turned into the couples sweetheart table we built our gold mirror custom fronted table for them.
The Venue Architecture has two stunning arches which we thought we could add to by continuing the blossom theme, we placed two blossom trees within the Arches Which framed them amazingly.
For our bride we also provided all the fresh flowers for her wedding bouquet which was made up of Ivory florals, we used grand roses, full peonies and fragrant sweet pea in her bouquet and we finished it with an ivory ribbon. Her 6 bridesmaids had an ivory and blush pink bouquet made of similar flowers.
We provided four buttonholes for the groomsmen and they all had ivory roses, a very traditional buttonhole of choice!
This particular wedding our team stayed waiting for the turnaround because this is when the same room that was used for the ceremony was going to be switched for the reception.
We had a very short window for this to happen and this usually takes place when the guests are enjoying their drinks reception outside, luckily the weather held up and the guests were happy to wait in the beautiful sunny Italian garden.
The Reception:
We mixed our centerpieces mixing our bell vases with the flower arrangements that were taken from the ceremony with our statement cascading orchid centerpiece.
The place setting included our popular gold Rim glass charger plates, A 5-piece gold cutlery dining set and the gold Rim champagne and wine glasses.
When describing her reception room she told us she wanted to have an abundance of candles so below each centerpiece we placed lots of tea lights and lots of floating candles.
The ceremony display then became the new head table so the Blossom arch became her backdrop for her table and the gold mirror table front became her sweetheart table.
We took care of all of the decor for this particular wedding and it was fantastic wedding we loved being a part of.
