This was one of our favourite weddings as it was an explosion of colour and design and mirror.
For this particular wedding the groom was very involved in the decor he said he wanted to have a tear to come down his cheek when he entered the room, so we knew he was invested and and in the way the room looked, and found it important to the overall design of the day, the decor was important to him. As the groom worked in the world of weddings he understood the importance of lighting decor florals and design he was also open to going for something bold and bright and so with the planners help we came up with an ombre design of colour scheme.
The Ceremony
The ceremony sat around 250 guests in The Large downstairs Ballroom, at the front end of the ballroom it has a large panelled wall so we draped this to give a more romantic and soft feel to the room, we used our clear Crystal Chanel chairs for the guests and created a white carpet walkway with pedestals and candles to go down the aisle. We chose to keep the ceremony quite simple as we wanted the drama to come in for the reception.
The ceremony consisted of a praise and worship sing along which the guests and the couple enjoyed lots of prayer and praise was given during this time.
The Reception
For the reception lots of parts came into play, the production side of the company created a tiered stage for the couple which had an ombre cascading floral arrangement for their couples table our silver Arabella table, floating pink Orchid Halo chandeliers and matching floral arrangements.
We installed a diamond-shaped dance floor with a silver mirror coating and a decal print with the couples phrase.
Surrounding the Dancefloor were four VIP tables whereby reinstalled our bespoke floral silver mirror Bridges. The Bridges were designed to have an ombre effect transforming from a purple to a fuchsia pink. Beneath the bridges we covered the tables with a silver mirror table tops, silver mirror charger plates and abundance of candles and tea lights and finished the look off with our crystal Chanel chairs.
The guest tables were a mix of candles and florals in Keeping with the ombre theme and colours which were of course blush pink purple and fuchsia.
this was a very dramatic wedding and we loved it. We loved the fact that they were open to try something different and we of course love to be able to provide something different.
