March has been a busy month and it has left us very slow in updating the blog with our featured weddings however this one we particularly liked a LOT so here it is- this weeks featured wedding.
We have covered a plethora of weddings at the lovely golf course in South Croydon- Selsdon– we provide a mix of white chair covers, designer chair covers, stretch chair covers and black chair covers and for this particular wedding held in March the bride opted for a lovely white stretch chair cover alongside a Burgundy organza sash. A popular colour over the years that has remained consistant for weddings, birthdays and parties.
Our bride also opted for our starlight backdrop to go behind the top table and the cake table- the starcloth expanded to 9m wide at this particular wedding.
It was a perfect for the photographs and the first dance and later it had double use for the when the DJ arrived as a lovely scenic background for him.
One thing we do notice on the collection of our items is that people love dancing around our starlight backdrops! The Bride, Groomsmen and friends happily danced infront of the backdrop taking pictures and laughing- it looks pretty for a multitude of uses and that is where the beauty of the backdrop comes into full swing.
The bride had met to discuss the shade of organza-we have two burgundy, dark red colours available and she went for the official burgundy-alongside the white stretch chair covers.
Her flowers were a simple and elegant – a pretty deep shade of burgundy which matched the organza sashes perfectly.
The tulips were placed into a tall lilly vase and was very beautiful simple centrepiece.
She had a white box for the cards and gifts with a pretty burgundy organza tie which once again added to the wedding theme.
So here we go, when we enter a venue it often looks “nice” but as we have said many times before it just is not a wedding- or something to write home about- the crisp white chair cover creates a blank canvas to begin creating a wedding or event theme!
This is Selsdon PArk before we got started!
This is the smaller of the rooms held at Selsdon Park and without the backdrop.
She had her organza sash tied in a traditional bow which will forever be timeless and classic!
The room lends it self for intimate wedding sizes and the tall height of the lilly vases means guests are able to chat and talk whilst sitting at the table without the blockade of a huge centrepiece getting in the way! PERFECT.
With matching napkin ring ties it completed the look in the room – with the right amount of burgundy without being too overpowering
The final look…
