Pembroke Lodge in Richmond has been one of our most popular venues we provided the decor for 2013 and it looks the same for this year.
This particular wedding the bride opted for window draping, lanterns, chair covers, burgundy sashes and centrepieces.
Our white linen chair covers are bespoke for the chairs at the lodge and they work really well for the traditional look.
The lanterns were placed alongside the aisle with a large pillar candle and where then later moved around the room for the sit down meal and created a lovely ambiance for the evening party.
Lanterns are great for their diversity and change of use throughout the ceremony.
The theme of this wedding is of course Christmas.. so the bride opted for hints of burgundy throughout the room.
The sign in book features a pretty red bow and a crystal snow flake the gift box had the matching embellishment which we loved!
We added draping to the windows at the lodge this works well for double purposes-
During the ceremony and it creates a pretty feature wall and for the sit down it becomes a draping backdrop for the top table.
The window drapes are a fantastic feature at the lodge during summer months as the main net curtains can be removed and it creates a soft elegant feel to the room. We also added uplighting to the feature points of the drapery which again for the party section of the wedding it works out to have a multitude of effects in one wedding as the day continues..
From a soft fresh feeling for the ceremony to a pretty backdrop for the sit down to a party atmosphere at night for the party.
Versatile and lovely
The table centres featured a flower rose ball alongside our floating candle vases.
The bride opted for red themed items such as favours and table names.
With the red sashes that will be later moved to the tables for the reception the red and white mix would be a perfect blend.
So the final look- this is it!
Draping , uplighters, burgundy sashes, chair covers, centrepieces and lanterns.
