Situated at the centre of some of London’s most iconic sites rests Banqueting House. With the River Thames a 4 minutes’ walk south, Whitehall Gardens to its right and Changing of the Horse Guards to its left, Banqueting House has a prime location. This crucial piece of architecture is important to British history as it was the first structure completed in the Neo-Classical style, transforming the design of English architecture forever. It also happens to be one of the most sought after event venues in London. Couples from across the country book their wedding dates years in advance to ensure a beautifully seamless night. We recently had the opportunity to decorate a lovely young couples’ wedding there in April, and it was absolutely magical. Keep reading for a full breakdown..
The lights bounced off the mirror top and added a luminous glow to the cake. Half of the guest tables had customised summery floral arrangements, which represented their colour scheme which instantly brightened the hall, which was a large enough statement piece that competed perfectly the grandeur of the room.
We used our clear Bell Vases to emphasise the beauty of these silk flower blossom centrepieces sitting on our Mirrored Base. The remaining half of the guest tables were decorated with our Gold Candelabras with led candles which contributed to their elegant and timeless wedding theme At the head table sat the bride and groom on our Love Seat. Created just for sweethearts, these love seats allow the newlyweds to embrace each other while looking onto the main floor and bask in the blessings, love and support of their closest family and friends. The custom built Floral Arch that beautifully cascaded behind them was interwoven with a variety of silk flowers that was consistent to their pink and ivory coloured theme.
Upon entering the reception room, stood our table plan easel with grand gold mirror. To the far end of the stunning ball room- our Mirrored Cake Table holding the couples gorgeous four tiered custom wedding cake.

We wanted to make sure the new couple wasn’t over powered by excess decor so we went for a more simple design on the ceremony table. We lined our Gold Hurricane Vases filled with small white silk flower blossoms along the table and coupled them with flickering LED candles to add a soft touch.
Finally, a customised Flower Wall with the new couple’s decal was positioned to the far right of the room which made their indoor wedding have an outdoor garden feel to.
