It is unbelievable that June has almost ended, it has been so busy for the Designer Chair Covers To Go’s team that we do not even realise sometimes how many weddings we have already worked on at this season. Last week one of the venues we decorated was the Painshill Park in Cobham, Surrey.
A perfect place for a marquee style event. It was held in the Conservatory that has a very romantic, neutral ivory lining. It is easy to decorate, the view of the garden gave a natural look, cannot wait to see the photos were taken there.
Rosoline and Michael chose a white-silver-blue scheme that totally matched with the fairy lights on the ceiling and the navy blue carpet. When the guests arrived, it was like if they hopped into Wonderland. Was just simply beautiful.
The tables had a mix of centrepieces. We placed silver candelabras with glass cups and clear, glass, dome shaped bell vases on round, mirror bases. Candles and tea lights created a mystical atmosphere, once it got a bit darker. They had blue napkins with silver cutlery and our gorgeous silver beaded charger plates. I always say little things make big difference, if you check out the video and the photos, you will see how amazingly looked the table with these plates on.
That day the spotlight was on the head table with the silver, sparkly sequin. I mean it was on the couple who was sitting at the glamorous head table. Now it is more correct. We covered the plain, white wall behind them with a snow white drape and with the flower arch, our most popular star! All the flowers were ivory, in the vases, on the centre of the candelabras, even the flower arch was rich with them. Can you guess whether they were fresh or silk flowers?
On the stage by the top table we put 2 mirror and 2 white pedestals which had clear urns and silver punch bowls with hydrangeas mixed with wisteria flower arrangements in. Also we placed some extra pieces right on the stage, by the head table, silver speckle hurricane vases and more punch bowls sparkled at the edge.
The team did a great job; it was a magical, touching wedding with a fantastic party at the end.
Congratulations to Rosoline and Michael, live happily ever after!
