Cadbury Purple Butterfly Wedding Theme

This week we had the pleasure of decorating the lovely King’s Arms by Marco Pierre White a lovely barn house venue based in Sussex. Our bride had met us at the wedding show and loved the Cadbury purple setup we had done previously at the venue. She had adopted a butterfly theme for her wedding choosing a variety of little features for her guests.

Butterfly added to the sash

We added silver butterfly clips to each of the chairs to bring together her ideas of her exciting wedding theme.

Butterfly menus

Her table had further examples of butterfly decorations with her table menus printed in the popular cadbury purple with the pretty jewel encrusted diamonds. These little touches all came together elegantly to produce such a beautiful wedding spread.

Purple Table Swags

We added our top table swags to the high table using the same cadbury purple material to create a striking center stage wedding bride and grooms table.

Purple organza wedding favours

Her favours consisted of little butterfly shaped seeds with a beautiful message to her guests “Love is like a seed… nourish it and it will grow” giving seeds out as a wedding favour seems to be a very popular wedding favour idea this year. It is a long lasting gift (if cared for!) that the couple will think of you when they see the plant grow! which is a always a great thing.

Butterfly name tags

The butterfly theme further continued to the unique name tags, made from handmade pottery- these are a true keep sake for any one that attended the wedding- they can be used afterwards on the mantelpiece.

Cadbury Purple Final

As you can see she choose a white chair cover with our cadbury purple organza sashes tied in a traditional bow with matching top table swags and silver butterflies.

We heard the day went superbly well- it was a warm summers day with blue skies all around.
