In May, a warm summers day we had the pleasure of decorating the luxuary 4 star hotel in Tonbridge the beautiful Spa Hotel. The venue is situated in 14 acres of stunning greenery at the cusp of Royal Tunbridge Wells. It caters for up to 230 guests in the Royal suite as well as smaller intimate celebrations or weddings.
We arrived to a pretty room elegantly decorated with a gold and blue accents from the heavy curtains to the strong decidant carpets the room was “pretty” but not have a wedding ambiance. One of the main reasons chair covers have become standard and popular for most weddings.
The lovley bride opted for a blue wedding theme incorporating it to her handmade and elegant stationary, featured above with a pretty navy blue embellishment flower and diamond detail. The stationary continued onto her A fold wedding menus which also consisted of the navy color and dimond details. It added subtle colour hints to the wedding table which really adds to the overall look of the room.
The bride had placed a children’s table at the center of the room a choice most brides battle with as they are unsure if it would be a good idea to put the kids together or keep them with their parents, ultimately assuming the parents would need to keep attending the table to help to feed and assist the kids whilst the wedding breakfast is in full swing. On the children’s table our bride took extra precautions to keep the kids occupied with a sweet bag favour– yummy colourful and useful ideas to give to children.
The wedding cake was not set out at the time we arrived but we managed to spot the cake topper which was an exciting car with a happy cute bride and groom.
We did notice the personalised napkins that seem to be a trending feature of the weddings this weekend– choosing a subtle colour of ivory and silver her napkins added a personal touch for the guests.
At Last… bringing all these beautiful features together created this stunning dramatic wedding room in Kent.Navy blue organza sashes and White chair covers achieved this look at the Spa hotel.
